Faster, fairer, and future-focused – mediation is changing how disputes are resolved.
Recently, members of our Dispute Resolution team, Amal Lari (Partner) and Maram Sharaf (Associate), attended the “Getting to Yes” workshop on Investment Dispute Mediation & Negotiation in Manama, organized by the Council for International Dispute Resolution (CIDR Bahrain) (tag).
The workshop brought together experts and practitioners from across the region, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and featured insights from leading figures such as Ken Hyatt (Harvard Negotiation Project) and Frauke Nitschke (ICSID).
Such initiatives play an important role in strengthening Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for dispute resolution, promoting mediation as an effective alternative to lengthy litigation, and enhancing investor confidence through transparent and efficient frameworks — outcomes that ultimately benefit our clients by providing greater certainty and efficiency in resolving complex commercial and investment disputes.
ASAR remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen legal and regulatory frameworks in Bahrain and across the region. We look forward to continued collaboration with stakeholders and clients working to advance effective and efficient dispute resolution in the region.
