Members of ASAR’s dispute resolution team attended Riyadh International Disputes Week, organised by the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA).
Across events hosted by GAR Live Riyadh 2026 and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), discussions focused on current developments shaping international arbitration, including institutional practice, enforcement and cross-border considerations.
The team – @Ahmed Barakat (Senior Partner), @Adnan Jaafar (Partner), and @Maged Said (Senior Associate) – engaged with practitioners, arbitrators and institutions on practical issues relevant to regional and international disputes.
Insights from the sessions attended covered procedural strategy, enforcement and the interaction between arbitration and court proceedings in cross-border disputes. This perspective supports the team’s ongoing work across litigation and arbitration matters and informs how clients are advised on managing disputes across jurisdictions, reflecting ASAR’s focus on staying closely engaged with developments in arbitration across the region.
