RunKuwait
After being postponed due to flooding, RunKuwait For a Cause happened on 15 December 2018 with phenomenal success and beautiful weather.
RunKuwait is an annual fundraising 5km and 10km charity run or walk organised by the Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN) in aid of children with disabilities in need of better healthcare. Since 2013, the RunKuwait event has donated funds to the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Centre (CERC). This, along with donations from other corporate and individual donors, has enabled FSHN to provide free healthcare to 20% of the children in the CERC, and subsidise the care of a further 60%.
With runners from all over Kuwait joining forces, the day was filled with bright sunshine and tremendous excitement. Runners could participate in the 5km or 10km race. Congratulations to the winners from both categories:
