It was a privilege to again assist Bukhamseen Group Holding (BGH) as their Kuwait legal counsel in relation to the development of BGH’s new luxury hotel project in Kuwait, to be known as “Mandarin Oriental, Kuwait”.

The Mandarin Oriental, Kuwait will be managed by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the award-winning owner and operator of some of the most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences in the world. The signing ceremony to kick-off the project took place in Kuwait this month. The hotel is set to open in 2028 and will be located in the heart of Kuwait City’s financial district.

The ASAR team was led by Senior Partner, Sam Habbas, and corporate partners, Paul Day and Christopher Walugembe.

BGH is a very long standing client of ASAR with a relationship that goes back more than 30 years. We are happy to have contributed to this project and have no doubt that it will set a new benchmark for the luxury hospitality industry in Kuwait.
