ASAR is pleased to announce upcoming changes to the firm’s leadership structure, effective November 1, 2024. These changes reflect the firm’s continued growth and commitment to provide exceptional legal services to all our clients.

Sam Habbas, our Co-Founder and Senior Partner for the past 16 years, will become the first Chairman of the firm. As Chairman, Sam will oversee the firm’s overall vision and its leadership.

Ahmed Barakat, Managing Partner and the Head of our Commercial Litigation and Arbitration practice for the past 16 years, will step up to become the firm’s Senior Partner bringing his  leadership experience and skills to his new role. He will also continue to head our Commercial Litigation and Arbitration practice.

Ezekiel Tuma, one of our senior M&A, banking and finance partners, and who is a key member of the firm, will become the Managing Partner. His extensive knowledge, strategic vision and experience make him especially qualified to take on this important role.

Sam, Ahmed and Ezekiel will continue to advise clients in their respective practice areas.
