ASAR – Al Ruwayeh & Partners provides professional insight on labor law regulations

The seminar covered a wide range of topics that included workforce nationalization and the importance of employing nationals, end of service gratuities, GCC nationals’ entitlement to state pension programs, minimum terms and conditions of employment, termination of employment and potential compensation.

ASAR’s labor law specialists, Mr. Ahmed Zakaria, a Partner at ASAR represented ASAR Kuwait, while Mr. Steven Brown represented ASAR Bahrain. During the event, ASAR’s labor law specialists provided insights into the current labor laws and practices prevailing in Kuwait and Bahrain, while also highlighting recent developments and trends. ASAR also shed light on the relationship between an economy’s performance and labor markets’ rules and practices, and the ability of businesses to adapt to changing economic conditions by optimizing their workforces while complying with applicable laws and practices.
