ASAR is the first and only law firm in Kuwait to align its business operations and strategies with the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact Initiative
ASAR – Al Ruwayeh & Partners (ASAR), Kuwait’s leading tier one corporate law firm, is pleased to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact Initiative, the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. ASAR is the first and only law firm in Kuwait to join this global initiative of the United Nations.
The United Nations Global Compact Initiative calls on companies from around the world to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of the UN goals and objectives embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 14,000 companies across 160 countries, working in partnership with over 3,800 non-business participants and 69 local networks in a multi-sector approach.
