During the comprehensive training course that was held at Kempinski Grand & IXIR Hotel, ASAR addressed the 2012 Bahraini Labour Law designed for the private sector, marking another successful session for the brand as part of its mission to guarantee a dynamic platform for ongoing legal developments and dialogue.
Through a comparative analysis with the former labour law backed also by recent case studies, ASAR provided an overview of the newly implemented Bahrain Labour Law, and conveyed employee mobility rights and how they can affect businesses. The course focused in detail on employment contracts, recruitment, Bahrainisation and work permit allocations, discipline and investigating employee wrong doing, annual leaves and benefits, followed by managing lawful termination of the employment relationship with emphasis on, optimized contractual termination methods, compensation requirements, Ministry of Labour complaints, and successful protection against employment claims while avoiding pitfalls when disputes arise.
