Delivering measurable community impact this Ramadan.
This Ramadan, ASAR’s Bahrain office is once again supporting Bahrain Food Bank (Conserving Bounties).
In the past year alone, the organization conserved and redistributed 230 tonnes of surplus food – up from 183 tonnes the previous year – working in partnership with hotels, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes across Bahrain.
By collecting surplus food from hospitality venues, corporate events, weddings and social gatherings, and packaging it in accordance with recognised health standards, Bahrain Food Bank ensures safe distribution to families, low-income workers and individuals in need. This structured approach addresses both food security and environmental in pact.
During Ramadan, the organisation also prepares and distributes food hampers, as well as meals to those in need.
