ASAR welcomes Deena Radhi as our featured artist for 2026. Her work will be showcased throughout the year as part of ASAR’s Art Arena, our ongoing initiative supporting artists from across the region.

Deena is a Bahraini abstract expressionist whose practice is informed by the natural world and inner emotional landscapes. Through bold brushwork, vibrant colour and intuitive mark-making, her work explores energy, movement and the elemental forces that shape our environment.

Her paintings are guided by spontaneity and material exploration, allowing the physicality of paint to direct each composition. Drawing inspiration from nature and lived experience, Deena’s work invites reflection on connection — to place, to shared human experience and to the creative process itself.
