13 IFLR National Awards
In 2021, ASAR was awarded thirteen national awards consecutively since 2009, presented by the IFLR, one of the world’s leading legal market guides for corporate and financial law firms worldwide.
The most recent award for the “National Law Firm of the Year,”, was received just short of a year ago on 27 October 2021 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Dubai. This prestigious event saw the attendance of partners and representatives from other leading GCC and international law firms and financial institutions.

IFLR M&A Deal of the Year Award
In 2017, ASAR won the “IFLR M&A Deal of the Year Award” in relation to ASAR’s role as Kuwait law counsel to Adeptio AD Investments SPC Limited who acquired a 93.4% stake in Kuwait Food Company (Americana). In addition, ASAR was also awarded with the “IFLR Restructuring Deal of the Year Award” in relation to ASAR’s role in acting as Kuwait law counsel to the various creditors in respect to the restructuring of the debt of Adeem Investment and Wealth Management. In 2018, ASAR was also the successful recipient of the “Most Innovative Law Firm of the Year” award, as presented to ASAR by the IFLR.

Continuing the momentum of being at the forefront of award-winning legal counselling and keen adaptation to regulation and legislation changes, ASAR will be hosting an exclusive event on 14 November 2022, focusing on Competition Law and the rise of IPOs in Kuwait.
