Riza Ismail is an associate of Al Sarraf & Al Ruwayeh. She is a Malaysian qualified attorney with a Bachelors degree in Commerce (Accounting) and Law both from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She is also a holder of a Diploma in Sharia Laws and Practice which she received from the International Islamic University, Malaysia. She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2002 and has practiced a broad spectrum of corporate work including securities issues, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, banking and commercial transactions.

Prior to joining Al Sarraf & Al Ruwayeh in September 2007, Riza served as in house legal counsel to an Islamic fund management company in Malaysia. Currently, she primarily focuses on Islamic finance, securities laws and mergers and acquisitions related work. She is fluent in English and the Malay language.
